Keypace

A native Mac typing-speed test, on the Mac App Store.

A clean typing-speed test built for macOS. Practise with words, quotes, code or your own text; track WPM, accuracy and a daily streak. No account and no tracking. Codename Tappet. Version 1.1 on the Mac App Store adds a menu-bar quick test that opens with Control-Option-K from any app, and an optional one-time Pro unlock with a per-key heatmap and practice drills built from your weakest keys. Version 1.1, on the store since October 2, 2026, also has a command palette on Command-K, a pace caret that races your personal best, and a graph of each test second by second.
